These are not glorified air conditioners. Air conditioners are designed for human comfort at 70 degrees and 50% humidity which is not a good environment for your wine investment. The inherent design of comfort cooling equipment (air conditioners) and the related characteristics of comfort cooling components lend such equipment inappropriate for your wine room requirements. Most attempts at air conditioning equipment applied to wine room applications result in humidity in excess of 80% relative humidity and require separate de-humidification. Not only that, comfort cooling equipment applied to wine room applications usually voids the manufacturer’s warranty. Additionally, air conditioners serving wine rooms typically just don’t work in the first place.
(Our) wine room systems are REAL refrigeration systems. They are designed to function during outdoor temperature extremes of 20 degreesF in the winter to 110 degreesF in the summer. Each application is custom rated for your particular room conditions.
We can make it happen, and incorporate a wine room refrigeration system that you can’t see in your interior decor, or even hear for that matter.
The inherent system balance of our assemblies maintain design conditions without additional air treatment*
*In arid geographical areas and wine room applications that are not adjacent or incorporated into an occupied or environmentally controlled space, humidification or heat may be required.
